File Apr 18, 5 24 22 PM

From relocation, solidifying a perfect line-up and beginning a touring career, NYC’s Varsity has been through a lot to get to where they are today. Beginning as a solo project in Florida, the band has seen exponential growth and they owe it all to their fans and their incredible dedication to their art. Gearing up to release their debut, full-length album, The Death of a Monstera lot of cogs are moving behind the scenes that I was just dying to know about. I reached out to Joey, who has been a friend of mine since late 2013 and he gave me the honor of giving the fans this EXCLUSIVE interview in which you’ll learn new information about the band and their plans, as well as a backstory on how the project transitioned from solo to full band and a bigger insight into who Joey is, as an individual. We’re proud, excited and honored to launch Second Heartbeat Promotions with a near-37 minute long interview that is every bit worth the watch (and may even include some hidden gems, underneath.) The interview was shot and edited by Christian Lawrence at Final Reprise Media and can be found below.

Stay tuned for more info on The Death of a Monster and the band’s future as it becomes publicly available… they’re in for one hell of a year!
